Zurich Insurance Company Ltd did host its third annual Charity Concert on June 25th, 2015, “Masters of Georgian & Classical Music”. The Vivace’s “Music Class” project was one of the two charities benefitting from the proceeds of this concert. Through donation was possible to This provid: 3 piano, 3 Violin, 2 Cello and
3 Windinstruments for Georgian music schools.

Charity-Concert “Masters of Georgian & Classical Music”

Zurich Insurance Company Ltd did host its third annual Charity Concert, “Masters of Georgian & Classical Music” introduced listeners to beautiful melodies interpreted by Georgian and international musicians.The Vivace foundation’s “Music Class” project was one of the two charities benefitting from the proceeds of this concert. This project aimed at providing Georgian music schools with much-needed instruments, as they are broaden the range of musical specialization for talented Georgian kids.

It is already 15 years that the Music Department of the Zurich University of the Arts welcomes students from Georgia for studies - from preliminary studies to Bachelor's and Master's degree, soloist diploma to special training courses. For this anniversary the association Vivace organizes a project, with the goal to bring together talented young musicians from Switzerland and Georgia through a cultural exchange, to promote their careers, to enhance the cooperation of the Zurich University of Arts and the Tbilisi State Conservatory and to tie the necessary international contacts.

PIANO BENCH PROJECT

During last visit Tamara Kordzadze (President of Association Vivace) found out that in Georgia's music schools were in bad shape. The music halls where regular concerts are performed were not equipped with standard piano chairs or benches. Children and young pianists used to have plain, very uncomfortable wooden chairs with no padding or possibility for adjustments.

Festival of Young Artists Bayreuth
1 – 31 August 2011
With the support of Mrs. Sissy Thammer and Mr. Daniel Draganov, the participation of four young musicians from Georgia - Mamuka Babuadze, Bachana Bekauri, Ana Mamisashvili and Ana Tigashvili - in the “Festival of Young Artists in Bayreuth” (Germany) became a reality. The students were trained by approved lecturers throughout an entire month in orchestra and chamber music, and they attended various workshops as well. Georgian Students were able to delight and inspire the local audience with several concerts.
